Located just outside of Edmonton at Rad Torque Raceway, Formula Car Thrill is a great place to learn for first time Formula Car Drivers. We take care of everything. No previous racing experience necessary!

We run safe and action packed days for Public Events. Here’s what you can expect to enjoy on your special day:
Arrival — Driver Training
Registration, Introductions, Event Overview, Safety & Racing Techniques, Class & Racing Suit Fitment.
Out to Track — Car Walk Around & First Session
Race Car Introduction in Pit Lane.
Race Car & Track Familiarization Driving Session.
Lunch Break
Lunch is not included at Events & there are no on-site provisions for purchase of food nor drinks.
Out to Track — Afternoon Thrill Driving Sessions
Balance of the day spent with huge smiles and “high fives” from the multiple on track “Lead / Follow” driving sessions at safely increasing speeds!”
End of Day — Graduation Celebrations!

A cheeky (but accurate) answer would be “slow enough to be safe and fast enough to be exciting!”... luckily, the formula racercars are low to the ground which greatly enhances the feeling of speed!

No, most racing schools take several days to teach that level of skill (plus, they also have racecar damage responsibility at that level)... we have found the amazing thrill of “piloting” these formulacars to be more than enough thrill and excitement for everyone!

None regarding the race cars... but yes, regarding the helmets (gloves, etc other racing gear we lend to you free of charge).

Not usually... we provide a wide array of sizing for all the racing equipment (most people wear just shorts & a t-shirt under the racing suit).

Yes !.. but please note there are specific areas they will need to stay within for safety (with children and pets being your responsibility to take care of).
